Guns & Pepper
I opened my mail today and found myself laughing a bit. A couple weeks ago when Chinese Democracy from Axl Rose, sorry Guns N Roses was released I saw a link for free soda. I had heard earlier this year that the folks that make Dr Pepper said they would give everyone in America a free soda if the CD from the band was released by the end of 2008.
Well it was and they kept up their promise. You had 24 hours to sign up for the coupon. Today I opened the mail and sure enough there it was.
What made me laugh was the fact that I had forgot all about it.
Gun's lawyer accused the soda make of fraud and shody promotion. There was no direct promotion between the band or the soda manufacturer. Whatever.
I got a free soda and I still didn't buy the CD.
