Dazed and confused
Is it my imagination or is the majority of the American public becoming space cadets. I ran errands yesterday, you know groceries etc. Nearly every person seemed to be walking around in a daze. What are people thinking about when they shop? Do they even have an idea why they went there in the first place?posted by Doppler at

It's interesting that you noticed that. I believe we as humanity are going through many changes right now in every aspect of our lives, quickly too. Many appear to be in a daze while they are processing and awakening...

We are a nation of mindless consumers. Our toys teach us what products to buy later. Our books, newspapers, movies, etc are filled with product placements. No big surprise we're just mindless drones in the Super Wal-Mart of Life.
